Glainne Andalusia Residency 2027

In January 2027, a restored Moorish fortress in the Andalusian hills opens its doors once again for a Glainne gathering.

From Monday 18 January to Saturday 23 January 2027, a circle of around thirty gay men and allies will come together inside Castillo de Monda, a 
castle reserved entirely for the group. The residency is shaped as both sanctuary and celebration: mornings begin gently, with 
space to ease into the day; afternoons invite shared sessions and creative exploration; evenings draw everyone back together for performance, conversation, and long dinners by candlelight.

Participants are welcome to arrive alone or with a partner, with curiosity, openness, and connection at the heart of the experience. This is not therapy, but a chance to slow down, create together, and enjoy time lived differently — in an atmosphere that feels relaxed, generous, and genuinely welcoming.

The group remains small enough to feel intimate, yet large enough to spark laughter, variety, and the quiet joy that comes from shared moments. 
The stay includes five nights at the castle, all meals prepared with Andalusian flavours, materials for creative sessions, and a full programme of cultural events, performances, and guided encounters led by invited artists and contributors.

Flights to Málaga, airport transfers, alcohol outside of scheduled events, and personal hotel services are not included, although transfers can be arranged on request.

What begins in Andalusia is meant to carry forward — the laughter around the table, the conversations that linger, and the simple pleasure of having shared something meaningful, together.
