I have been going to the Ze Bar for many years both to the Restaurant where I have taken friends visiting Paris and to the bar. Recently I have found their doorman to be very rude and he wants to know if I am having a drink before I go into the bar. Sometimes I may just want to go in a place to see if there are friends there I want to talk to and will quickly leave it not. Recently I went there to meet a couple of friends and the doorman would not allow me to go in unless I would confirm that I would be having a drink. This was very rude and very unusual in my opinion for a bar who wants to attract or keep customers. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend this bar and will not take friends to the bar or adjoining restaurant anymore.
