The Balcony

I've been coming here for almost 10 years. It's lovely and friendly place. My recommendation.

Spent many happy hours at Balcony drinking and eating with my friends. Great prices for beers and an excellent wine selection. The free karaoke is the best in the area by far, with lots of English songs and internet access. The shows on Friday and Saturday nights are professional and raunchy.. and when the shows are not on, there’s a pool table.

At blender, the glasses are so small. Rip off gin tonic where the glasses are very small and full of ice. Beer is cheaper than other places.

Thought I'd cross the Soi and try Balcony for a change. What a mistake. The food was terrible.

If you are with a friend or more, it's a nice place to go. If you are by yourself, and just want to enjoy the night....sit across the street at Telephone bar. Balcony ignores people who are by themselves. It's just not worth wasting your time trying to get a drink or anything. I've visited 3 times by myself and 2 times with a friend. Again....don't visit by yourself unless you really enjoy waiting 20 minutes to get your drink and the same time just to be able to pay and leave.

A good place to get smashed on Friday night because the drinks are cheap. Nothing else so special.

The staffs are great asset to this bar. They are very friendly and entertaining. They are the reason I kept going back whenever I was in Bangkok.

At the centre of the Silom Soi 4 bar scene, Balcony is my favorite spot for a beer and to watch the passing crowds. Always a very diverse mix of people. The staff are super-friendly and what makes the place.
