The current building opened around the year 2000, which up until recently was largely unchanged since that time. Over the past year or 2 the place has been completely remodeled and renovated at a great expense. The downstairs wet area, locker area, hot tub, and workout areas were totally redone. The upstairs area was refreshed and rooms were taken out of one section for a new sauna in that area, and additional rooms were added over the downstairs wet area. The result is a facility that rivals that of the Steamworks chain. The upstairs play area seems a bit shabby, with a DIY feel that doesn’t match the rest of the club. The doors to the glory hole booths and constantly banging as they slam closed, and the seat cushions in the TV lounge along with the cushion in the room next to the sling are in bad need of replacing. The crowd varies widely depending on the day of the week and time of day you visit. The staff seem friendly enough but on a recent busy night they appeared a bit frazzled by the high demand. This is hands down the top sauna in Texas, and one of the best in N. America.
