The Cumberland, one of London's largest 4-star hotels, features contemporary-styled guest rooms that are air-conditioned, double-glazed and feature LCD TV's, super-fast free WiFi and walk-in power shower.
The Oxford Street location is particularly good for shopping. Sightseeing is easy as the Marble Arch tube station is next door and there is an endless supply of buses passing in every direction.
Gay scene-wise, you can walk to Soho, but it is easier to catch a bus for a couple of stops. The Number 2 bus route goes directly from the hotel to the Vauxhall gay village.
